The CSA Theatre Company presents: Puffs Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years At A Certain School Of Magic & Magic!
CSA Theatre Company includes several Marion Community Schools students, from grades 5-12.
This hilarious parody based on a popular book series that shall not be named will be on the main stage at the Walton Performing Arts Center at Marion High School at 7 p.m. Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 8.
Puffs is a tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world. For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs ... who just happened to be there too.
This clever and inventive play gives you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers. Their hilariously heartfelt and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a wizard hero can be.
Tickets can be purchased online or at CSA, 305 S. Adams St., Marion, 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Tickets are also available at the door beginning one hour before showtime. Doors open for seating 30 minutes before showtime. Ticket prices increase $2 at the door.
