Congratulations to the Marching Giants on their Gold rating at the ISSMA Summer Showcase in Kokomo on Aug. 22!
This puts the Marion High School band program on the path to a potential All-Music Award. The band has won this ISSMA award for six years in a row, and is now going for seven!
They've also reached the finals round of the State Fair Band Day CITSA competition for six years in a row.
This Friday, the Marching Giants will celebrate their seniors and perform their show at halftime of the Giants' home football opener against Mississinewa.
